Hi. It's me, writing at this late night. cause i had too much sleep in the afternoon.

There is this famous quote that i saw a lot of people posted on facebook, this :

Well. I have no comments on that, it is very subjective. I don't know. but I guess cheating is the worst thing someone can do to another person.

So yeah, cheating.

If you got cheated, don't blame yourself. We start feeling like we've did something wrong. We, the woman, loose our self-esteem because this person is seeing and being with someone else. We start tearing ourselves apart trying to figure out what's wrong with us or what we did wrong in the relationship. You first have to accept there is nothing wrong with you. You are the same person, this person wanted to be with in the beginning. The main thing is do not blame yourself for a cheating man. And the worst thing a man could do, insincere apology and accusing the partner, for the sake of the guilt in him.

There is this saying that a man who cheats, will continue to do so, and that's the fact forever. It's more like a take it or leave it situation. Guys would normally agree on this, ~~(f***ya)~~ if you agree.

There are 2 choices, to leave or stay. If you've decided to stay with your cheating boyfriend, accept that is who he is. Nothing you can say or do will change that. Don't live your life in denial that he will stop cheating. If you have accepted him with his cheating ways, then he has accepted, that you have accepted him, so therefore he will continue cheating on you. It's your choice if you want to live like that. Nevertheless, if you've decided to leave, then do that, just leave. If you have accepted that he cheats and you do not want to be with someone like that, get out of the relationship. This person can't give you what you want and when it comes to your life, it's all about you. You have the right to not accept a boyfriend cheating on you.

It's kinda sad, either way. Stay or leave.

I guess it's pretty normal to always find other people better than who we are, smarter, hotter, prettier, richer... I have the urge to write after reading a blog of a friend that i barely know. (let's make that a she.) The friend was very upset at her appearance, that she couldn't look any better, she find herself ugly.

Well, at first, I wanted to leave a comment, saying that she actually looks good, and I've been stalking her for a while though I've never talked to her much. But that would sound like a hypocrite. so i didn't write or comment on anything. I find her...um..cute, sweet, pretty, different from others I would say. I was surprised that she was so upset about herself just because she felt that she isn't looking good enough. cause i kinda admire her. okay, admire sounds weird. I like the way she looks.

That's just human, isn't it? We always want things that we don't have, never contented, never enough.

Jealousy is often thought as a single emotion, but actually it is a whole bundle of feelings that tend to get lumped together. Jealousy can manifest as anger, fear, hurt, betrayal, anxiety, agitation, sadness, paranoia, depression, loneliness, envy, coveting, feeling powerless, feeling inadequate, feeling excluded. Jealousy is about fear, fear of the unknown and of change, fear of losing power or control in a relationship, fear of scarcity and of loss, and fear of abandonment. It is a reflection of our own insecurity about our worthiness, anxiety about being adequate as a lover, and doubts about our desirability. ---well i think this best defines insecurity.

I am not saying that I am great, in fact I think I am of no difference. I envy, jealous, at times. just because I am not good enough. and i hate that feeling of being like a piece of shit. but sometimes, I am quite happy with myself, i think i should. that's the only way to cheer myself up. I am imperfect and I'm tired of hiding the flaws, too, like many others. I am still finding ways to live with the imperfections which I've been hiding so well.

I've just started my year 2 in law degree. i am grateful for my results for year 1, which i never would've expected, thank you. :)

It’s saddening, says Mahathir

PUTRAJAYA: The future of our schoolchildren will be compromised with the Government reversing the teaching of Science and Mathematics from English to Bahasa Malaysia, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said.

Dr Mahathir, who was behind the original policy of teaching both subjects in English, said his intention was to ensure that Malaysians were able to face global challenges at the earliest opportunity.

Expressing sadness on the policy reversal, he said schoolchildren would find it difficult to know more about the developments in the field of Science.

“These matters, of course, cannot be resolved overnight. But it’s the Government’s responsibility to train and supply capable teachers. I’m confident that our teachers will be able to study and teach in English,” he told reporters at his Perdana Leadership Foundation office yesterday.

Dr Mahathir said it was good that more teachers would be trained in English.

“But if we can train teachers to learn English, why can’t we do the same by training them to learn and teach Science and Mathematics in English?,” the former Prime Minister asked.

Dr Mahathir also questioned why no one protested when the medium of teaching in English in the colonial times was changed to Bahasa Malaysia.

“And at that time, not many teachers knew the national language. Now, it’s all right if we mix a little bit of Malay and English, but at the same time we need to improve the ability of our teachers too,” he added.

On his meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who is the Education Minister, before the new policy was announced, Dr Mahathir said he was only given a briefing.

Since I am doing the topic Arts for my general paper now, so I came across this article about Michelangelo. We learned the name in form 5 history text book right?? yes. That time I only knew about the name Michelangelo and nothing else.

The Creative Genius of Michelangelo

Michelangelo was pessimistic in his poetry but an optimist in his artwork. Michelangelo’s artwork consisted of paintings and sculptures that showed humanity in its natural state. Michelangelo’s poetry was pessimistic in his response to Strazzi even thought he was complementing him. Michelangelo was optimistic in completing The Tomb of Pope Julius 2 and persevered through its many revisions trying to complete his vision. Sculpture was Michelangelo’s main goal and the love of his life. Since his art portrayed both optimism and pessimism, Michelangelo was in touch with his positive and negative sides, showing that he had a great and stable personality.

Michelangelo’s artwork consisted of paintings and sculptures that showed humanity in its natural state. Michelangelo Buonarroti was called to Rome in 1505 by Pope Julius 2 to create for him a monumental tomb. We have no clear sense of what the tomb look like, since over the years it went through at least five conceptual revisions. The tomb was to have three levels; the bottom level was to have sculpted figures representing victory and bond slaves. The second level was to have statues of Moses and Saint Paul as well as symbolic figures of the active and contemplative life-representative of the human striving for, and reception of, knowledge. The third level, it is assumed, was to have an effigy of the deceased pope.

The tomb of Pope Julius 2 was never finished. What was finished of the tomb represents a twenty-year span of frustrating delays and revised schemes. Michelangelo had hardly begun work on the pope’s tomb when Julius commanded him to fresco the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel to complete the work done in the previous century under Sixtus4. The overall organization consists of four large triangles at the corner; a series of eight triangular spaces on the outer border; an intermediate series of figures; and nine central panels, all bound together with the architectural motifs and nude male figures. The corner triangles depict heroic action in the Old Testament, while the other eight triangles depict the biblical ancestors of Jesus Christ.

Michelangelo conceived and execute this huge work as a single unit, but it’s overall meaning is a problem. The issue has engaged historians of art for generations without satisfactory resolution. The paintings that were done by Michelangelo had been painted with the brightest colors that just bloomed the whole ceiling as one entered to look. The ceiling had been completed just a little after the Pope had died. The Sistine Chapel is the best fresco ever done.

Michelangelo embodies many characteristics qualities of the Renaissance. An individualistic, highly competitive genius, Michelangelo was not afraid to show humanity in its natural state- nakedness; even in front of the Pope and other religious leaders. He portrayed life as it is, even with it’s troubles. He wanted to express his own artistic ideas. The most puzzling thing about Michelangelo’s ceiling design is the great number of seemingly irrelevant nude figures that he included in his gigantic fresco. Four youths frame most of the Genesis scenes.

In painting nude human, he is suggesting the unfinished human; each of us is born nude with a mind and body, in Neoplatonic night, with the power to be our own shapers.

As a sculptor, architect, painter, and poet, he exerted a tremendous influence on his contemporaries and on subsequent Western art in general.
